Sub-Inspector Akthar Khan killed in Greater Noida encounter

Sub-Inspector Akhtar Khan of the Uttar Pradesh Police was killed in an encounter with some criminals in Greater Noida on 25 April.
According to reports, the police had gone to arrest a criminal named Furkan, when the latter along with others, started firing at the police personnel.
The police have started a search operation to nab the culprits. Further details are awaited.
