'Mayawati doesn't understand the plight of women because she didn't undergo labour pain, but Akhilesh Yadav can'

In yet another controversial statement, Samajwadi Party cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati made the headlines after he attacked Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati and said that she is incapable of understanding the plight of women.
Prajapati said that someone who has not had children can never understand the issues faced by women.
"Mayawati never felt the pain that a mother goes through during delivery of a baby, therefore she will never recognise their problems," a Pradesh18 repor quoted Prajapati as saying.
"On the hand, Akhilesh Yadav has recognised this pain that is the reason he started the special ambulance service for women," he added.
