Vishal and Shyam, the main accused in the Dadri lynching case, were arrested by the police on 3 October afternoon, claim media reports. The police had already arrested six people in relation to the lynching of 50-year-old Mohammad Akhlaq.
He was beaten to death by an angry mob after rumors spread that he and his family had slaughtered a calf and were storing the meat for consumption.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also visited Akhlaq's family earlier in the day and spent time speaking to them.
The locals attacked media vehicles as they were protesting against the VIP movement in the village.
