This Ambuja Cement ad with The Great Khali is the best TVC you'll see all year

Who would have thought Dalip Singh Rana, more popularly called The Great Khali, would give us the funniest TVC of the year?

At 7'1, this former WWE Heavy Weight Champion is known more for forcing opponents to rethink their career choices than tickling the funny bone. But the wrestler clearly has more to him than just memorable wins inside the ring.

In Ambuja Cement's latest advert, Khali demonstrates the travails of being a giant of a man.

Poking fun at himself in a way celebrities rarely do, Khali tackles a host of situations with all the grace of a bull in a China shop, with predictably funny results. The ad - created by ad agency Publicis - is cleverly scripted but it is Khali, endearing and funny, who gives it its appeal.

Well done, Ambuja. Way to drive in the point. Because if your cement is strong enough for a man who weighs 157 kgs, it's strong enough for everyone else.
