Oxford English Dictionary finds the official meaning for ‘chuddies’; Twitterati can't hold laughter
Oxford English dictionary has found its new words which have brought a big smile on the face of many readers. Among the thousands of words, ‘chuddies’ is the new word that has been added by Oxford dictionary including 650 words to the quarterly list of additions.
These 650 words addition announcement was made by Oxford on 18th March 2019.
The word ‘chuddies’ has described as underpants. The word has been originated in the 1990s, Anglo-Indian, which is an alteration of churidars.
As per the reports, the main contributors behind the word was Goodness Gracious Me, the British television and radio comedy show.
