#IfTrumpWereBlack: the brilliant hashtag that puts the spotlight on racism in America

For proof that white privilege not only exists, it's thriving in the West, one needs to look no further than the meteoric rise of Donald J Trump - both as a businessman and as the Republican nominee for POTUS 2016. Because how else can you explain the continued success of a man who has tax fraud, real estate fraud, and several counts of sexual assault associated with his name?

There is no doubt that if Trump wasn't a Caucasian male, he would have been enjoying a bit of jail-time instead of massive right-wing support.

The most-openly racist politician to have ever run for the presidency of the United States has been taken through the motions of some really epic (and wholesome) trolling by the black community, and other sane humans on Twitter.

Why is this important? The same reason why even in this day and age, people genuinely need to be reminded that black lives matter.
