Eat, Pray, Yoga: Patanjali Noodles and the importance of being Baba Ramdev

It is a truth universally acknowledged that as far as trends are concerned, Yoga guru and entrepreneurial genius, Baba Ramdev is a bona fide star. For not only is he body flexible like a pretzel, his business ventures respond to the latest trends almost as fast as Twitter does.

Even as the world was still flipping over #The ReturnOfMaggi, he launched Patanjali Atta Noodles. From Ayurvedic medicines to cosmetics to masalas, to instant noodles. If that leap isn't the stuff of legends, perhaps we need to redefine the word.

Whether you love him, hate him, or don't-have-an-opinion-about-him is immaterial, irrelevant and neither here nor on Mars. You just cannot ignore a man who does the Oscar statue better than the Oscar statue.

He's the hero of countless memes and epic GIFs, the famed winner of all cultural appropriation debates, a stomach-churner, and a leader on a mission to make snacking healthier. Needless to say, Twitter loves him. And with the launch of the very healthy, absolutely lead-free Patanjali Atta Noodles, Twitterati has just about lost its head.
