India welcomes Beauty and the Beast on stage
The Disney story, Beauty and the Beast, will soon be performed on stage in India, Disney India announced during its launch party through its official Twitter handle.
The stage version of the popular fairy story will play from October through December this year in Mumbai and Delhi. This is the first Disney movie to be performed on stage in India.

Siddharth Roy Kapur, managing director, Disney India, said, "Beauty and the Beast is a story that has resonated with millions of fans from around the world and we are sure it will do so in India as well."
