Punjab Teacher Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria Required

For Hindi-

Candidates belonging to the general category should be graduate with 45 percent marks. While candidates from the reserved category (Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physical Handicapped) should have qualified for their graduation with 40 percent marks from a recognized university or institution.

He or she should have passed Hindi as an elective subject for three years of Graduation. Also, he or she should have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or an institution with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.

For English-

Applicants should have passed Graduation with a minimum of 45 percent marks in the case of general category while 40 percent marks for those belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physically Handicapped category.

Candidates should have studied English as an elective subject for a period of three years.

For Science (Medical)-

An aspirant from the General category should have passed B.Sc. with 45 percent marks while a candidate from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physical Handicapped must have passed 40 percent marks.

He or she must have passed B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Science as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.

For Science (Non-Medical)-

To apply for the post, candidates must have passed B.Sc. with 45 percent marks in the case of General Category. While a candidate from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physical Handicapped category, should have passed with 40 percent marks.

The application fees for GEN & Other Category: Rs. 1000 and For SC/ ST Category is Rs. 500.
