India Post Office Recruitment 2020: Job Alert for 10th pass! Over 4000 vacancies released for these states; read details

India Post has invited application form for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) for various states. Candidates who have passed class 10th can submit their application form in the prescribed format.

There is a total of 4166 vacancies released by the India Post. Out of the total posts, 2834 vacancies are released in MP Postal Circle, 724 are invited by Uttarakhand Postal Circle while the remaining 608 vacancies are released by Haryana Postal Circle.

However, the application link will active on July 7, 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form at appost.in.

According to the notification, candidates applying for India Post GDS vacancies must be 10th passed with passing marks in Mathematics and English. Besides, candidates should have a compulsory knowledge of the local language and studied the local language at least up to class 10th.

The above vacancies will be filled for the post of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak.

India Post GDS Salary Details:

Minimum TRCA for 4 Hours/Level 1 in TRCA Slab

• BPM - Rs.12,000/-
• ABPM/Dak Sevak - Rs. 10,000/-

India Post GDS Age Limit:

The minimum age required to apply for the reserved category is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 40 years. While there is no age relaxation for the EWS category.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit List.

India Post GDS Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the vacancies candidates should be 10th pass with passing marks in Mathematics, local language, and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India.

The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th Class
