Coal India Recruitment 2019: 1326 vacancies released for Management Trainee posts; salary upto Rs 1 lakh

Coal India has released 1326 vacancies for the post of Management Trainees on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts from December 21, 2019.

As per the notification, the last date to apply for the posts of Management Trainees on January 19, 2020.


Notably, Coal India Limited (CIL) comes under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India and it is a Maharashtra Public Sector. A total of 1326 vacancies are notified for various disciplines such as Mining Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Systems, Coal preparation, Materials Management, Finance & Finance & Accounts, Personnel & HR, Marketing & Sales, and Community Development.

Eligibility Criteria Required for CIL Recruitment 2019:

Educational Qualification and Experience:

  • For Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil posts: Candidates should hold the degree of BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in a relevant branch of Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • For Systems post -BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / IT or MCA with minimum 60% marks.
  • For Coal Preparation post- BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Chemical/Mineral Engineering with minimum 60% marks
  • For Finance & Accounts post - Qualified CA / ICWA.
  • For Materials Management post- Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years full-time MBA/ PG Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks
  • For Marketing & Sales - Recognised Degree with 2 years full-time MBA / PG Diploma in Management with specialization in Marketing (Major) from recognized Institute / University with minimum 60% marks.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Computer Based Test which will be held on 27 and 28 February 2020.

Important Dates

  • Starting date for filling the application form - 21 December 2019 from 10.00 AM onwards
  • Last date for submitting online applications - 19 January 2020 till 11.00 PM
    Computer Based Test Date - 27 February and 28 February 2020

Salary Structure:

Selected candidates will get Management Trainee in E-2 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs 50,000 – 1,60,000/- at the initial Basic of Rs. 50,000/- per month during the training period. After the completion of the 1-year training period and passing the test conducted for the purpose, regularization will be in E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/- at the initial Basic of Rs. 60,000/- with probation for 1 year, if not extended.

  • GENERAL (UR) / OBC (Creamy Layer & Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS category - 1000/-
  • SC / ST / PwD candidates / Employees of Coal India Limited and its Subsidiaries – No Fee
