7th Pay Commission: Apply for Group D vacancies announced by Indian Railways on various posts; click to know benefits

Railway Recruitment Board had announced the several vacancies for the aspirants and invited an application on various departments. Now, Konkan Railways has invited an application form under Group D posts. RRB has released the job notification for 100 posts including the trackman, Khalasi and other.

According to the official website, all the vacancies are under Group D posts, therefore, candidates who are interested in the posts can apply on the official website of Konkan Railways. Candidates who will be selected under this recruitment drive will get the salary under the 7th Pay Commission.


Meanwhile, Indian Railways will select the candidates for the posts under KRCL. However, the last date to submit your online application form for the vacancies announced by RRB is 21st June 2018.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the two exams i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Test. After qualifying the test, candidates will be selected for the posts announced by Indian Railways.

• Trackman – 50 posts
• Apman – 37 Posts
• Khalasi Electrical – 2 Posts
• Khalasi S &T – 8 Posts
• Khalasi Mechanical – 3 Posts

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for the candidates is 18 years while the maximum is 33 years. However, the age relaxation will be given as per the government norms.

Education Qualification:

All the candidates who are going to apply for the posts must have passed the Class 10th from a recognized board/institute.

Pay Scale:

Candidates who are selected for the posts announced by RRB will receive the salary/allowance under the level 01 of 7th CPC pay matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale.
