Man objects his married neighbour’s illicit affair; know what happens next

A 43-year-old man was killed after he objected to his married neighbour’s illicit affair in the Udupi district of Karnataka.

According to the police, the now-deceased man was identified as Naveen Naik, a Hosuru resident.


Why did it happen?

Naik objected to his neighbour Manisha (name changed), who is married and one child, was having extramarital affair with a man named Gautham, timesnownews.com reported.

Manisha has a troubled marriage and she is not legally separated from her husband.

Reportedly, Gautham used to come to her house often and Naik took objection to it.

How Naik was killed?

On Sunday night when Naik’s family had gone to a friend’s place, Gautham came to his house along with five other men identified as Tilak Raj (36), Manoj Bhandary (30), Siddharth (23), Dhanush (27), and Chethan Kumar (24).

They brutally attacked Naik, leading to serious head injuries. He succumbed to his injuries, according to a report by The Times of India.

After alerting about the incident, police nabbed all the six accused within three hours.

Meanwhile, they have been booked under sections 447 (punishment for criminal trespass) and 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
