UPSC NDA, NA (I) 2019 Exam: Follow these last-minute tips for over 300 vacancies exam

UPSC NDA, NA (I) 2019 Exam

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be going to conduct the National Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination (I) 2019 exam on 21st April 2019. UPSC is conducting an examination to fill over 300 vacancies released for NDA and NA (I) posts.

Candidates who will qualify the exam will get the admission to the various courses like Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 143rd Course, and for the 105th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).


However, the admission for the posts will begin on 2nd January 2020.

There is a vacancy on 392 posts.

Vacancy-wise details:

  • For National Defence Academy: 342
  • Army- 208
  • Navy- 42
  • Air Force- 92
  • For Naval Academy: 50

NDA exam pattern:

The paper will consist of two papers i.e. Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks).

Candidates who are appearing for UPSC NDA and NA (I) exam on 21st April can check the last-minute instructions that are given below:

1. Solve previous years question papers because it will make you understand the pattern of the exam.

2. Current affairs should be on tips. Read the newspaper to know all the current happenings at the national and world level.

3. Revise NCERT class 10th Science and Social Science textbooks.

4. For the English section, try to solve questions related to grammatical errors, puzzle words and also try to write topics on various issues to improve your dictionary/vocabulary.

5. For Mathematics, solve NCERT Maths from class 6th to 12th.
