SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2016: New notification on objections released; Check now!

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released a new notification on Monday, 26 September, for Common Graduate Level Examination (CGLE).

The notice reads:

"Candidates who appeared in CGLE 2016 were allowed to make representations against answers on payment of Rs. 100 per answer, till 5:00 pm on 26.9.2016 (today). Candidates who have, through the facility provided on Commission's websites, applied for making representation(s) against answers and made payment by 5:00 pm on 26.9.2016 but have not been able to make representation(s) will be able to make representation(s) from 10:00 am on 28.9.2016 (Wednesday) to 5:00 pm on 29.9.2016 (Thursday) through the same facility," states the notice.

The SSC CGL exam results 2016 for the Tier 1 exam is expected to be declared sometime next week. The results will be announced on official website ssc.nic.in.

The answer key for SSC CGL 2016 was released on 21 September, 2016 along with the candidates' response sheet.

For the first time ever, the SSC CGL exams were held in online mode between 27 August to 11 September. Over 25 lakh candidates applied for the exam while 14 lakh candidates appeared in the SSC exam.

Here's how you can check you response sheet and correct answers:

1) Log in to ssc.nic.in

2) Click on the 'CGL Examination 2016 - Notice for candidates' link.

3) At the bottom of the page, you'll find a link to check response sheets, correct answers and submission of representations'. Click this.

4) You'll be taken to a new login page. Key in your user Id and password.

5) The complete response sheet and correct responses will appear on the screen
