RRB JE Recruitment 2019: Bad News! Vacancies for 14,000 posts reduced by Indian Railways; see revised notification
The Railway Recruitment Board has released another official notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineers, JE in Indian Railways. Earlier, RRB has released the vacancies on 14003 posts for the aspirants.
But, now sad news for the applicants that RRB has revised the vacancies and reduced the total numbers t0 13,487 in its new notification CEN 03/2018.
Therefore, now aspirants have to apply for as many as 13,487 posts.

Under this recruitment drive RRB aims to fill the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

- Date of release of Notification: December 29, 2018
- Start of Online Registration: 10 am on January 2, 2019
- Last Date for Registration: 23:59 Hrs on January 31, 2019
- Last date to pay fee (offline): 13:00 Hrs or 1:00 pm on February 4, 2019
- Last date to pay fee (online): 22:00 Hrs or 10:00 pm on February 5, 2019
- Close of submission of online application in all respected: February 7, 2019 at 23:59 Hrs
- Date of First Stage CBT: April/ May 2019 (Tentative)
