RRB JE Preparation Tips 2019: Here’s how to revise your vast syllabus in two days; check short tricks

Railway Recruitment Board has released the admit cards for the Junior Engineer examination as per its scheduled i.e. 18th May. The first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted from 22nd May across the country. Now, only two days are left for the RRB JE examination, therefore, the pressure is on among JE aspirants for the preparation.

This year, RRB has invited application forms to fill 13487 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer(Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent(DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant(CMA).


Candidates who are preparing for RRB JE examination can check some short tricks that will help you in preparing for the JE CBT 1 exam.

Before some tips and tricks check the exam pattern details:
RRB JE CBT 1 comprises of four sections:

1. Mathematics

  • Total no. Of questions: 30
  • Total Marks: 30

2. General Intelligence & Reasoning

  • Total number of questions: 25
  • Total marks: 25

3. General Science

  • Total number of questions: 30
  • Total Marks: 30

4. General Awareness

  • Total number of questions: 15
  • Total Marks: 15

Here’s how to prepare in two days:

1. Make your short notes:

Candidates are advised to make short notes of important topics that can be asked in the exam to revise at the last moment.

2. Mathematics:

Write all the important formulas in your notebook and solve previous years question papers.

3. RRB JE Preparation For General Intelligence & Reasoning:

Revise all your notes that you have prepared since you have started preparation for the JE exam. Go through all the solve examples.

4. General Science:

Just read NCERT 9th and 10th books before two days, don’t pick any other publication's book.

5. General Awareness:

Aspirants are advised to watch the news daily and update yourself with current affairs.

In the beginning, RRB JE released a total of 14,033 vacancies which later revised to 13,48 for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
