NEET Result 2018: Exam over! CBSE to be announced the entrance exam result in the first week of June; here’s how to check

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already conducted the NEET examination 2018 on 6 May 2018. The examination was held at various centres across the country. This year, near about 66,000 seats likely to be filled on the basis of the results of candidates. Now, students exam pressure has been over now, therefore, everyone will be worried about their results. According to the sources, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test result will be announced in the month of June 2018.

This year more than 1 million students had appeared for the National level entrance examination for seeking the admission in the medical colleges in India. Well, students will only be selected if they score the minimum cut off i.e. 50 percentage for unreserved category while 40 percentage for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward class.


Some sources have analysis the exam and assume the expected cutoff for the NEET exam 2018. For unreserved category, it will be around 140 (+/-) and for SC/ST/OBC, it would be 120. Students who are willing to get admission in government colleges then they have to score marks above 520.

However, merit list for the exam will be prepared after the NEET 2018 results declared. As per the merit list, candidates will able to know their luck whether they will get the government college or the private. Board will call the students for counselling according to the rank they scored in the examination 2018. The counselling process will be online based.

1. Open the official website of CBSE at cbseneet.nic.in.
2. Click on the result section
3. Open the relevant link for the NEET 2018 entrance exam result
4. Submit your details asked on the official page for showing your result
5. Click on Submit
6. Download your result
7. Take a printout for future references
