NEET Counselling 2018: Here’s how to appear for the first round of registration

The Medical Council Committee (MCC) has uploaded the notification for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) 2018 counselling on the official website on 13th June 2018. Candidates who are waiting for the counselling process can check the official notification.
The counselling process for NEET UG has been started on 13th June 2018 from 5:00 pm.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the result and cut-off of the NEET entrance exam result on 4th June 2018 on the official website. CBSE has announced the results for around 10 lakh students and out of which around 7,14,000 candidates have managed to cross the cut-off mark set by CBSE.


As per the reports, candidates who have scored minimum percentage i.e. 50% (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentage for General-PH) are eligible for the NEET counselling round.

However, candidates can do the payment for the first round of counselling till 19th June 2018 noon. Candidates must keep in their mind that the registration fees for the counselling are non-refundable.

Check out the important details about NEET 2018 first round of counselling:

  • Registration process and choice of filling the seat: 13th June to 18th June 2018 till 5 pm.
  • Choice of filling and locking the seat: 19th June from 10 am to 5 pm.
  • Seat allotment process: 20th June 2018 to 21st June 2018.

The final result will be announced on 22nd June 2018. While the reporting time for the same is from 23rd June to 3rd July 2018.

Kalpana Kumari has become the topper of NEET UG 2018 exam by scoring All India Rank (AIR) 1 with 99.99 percentage. She has scored whopping marks in all subjects like 171 out of 180 in physics, 160 out of 180 in Chemistry, 360 out of 360 in Biology (Biology and Zoology). The overall marks she gained is 691 out of 720.
