JEE Advanced 2018 results have been announced on 10th June 2018. Many students get good marks in the examination and will be able to get the admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology.

However, some of them are also their who unable to clear the examination and will try their luck in other exams or will appear again next year. Every year, we found some inspirational stories of the students who tried so hard to achieve their target. Today, we are going to tell you about the 15-year-old Shivam Kumar story who cracked the JEE Advanced 2018 exam.


Yes, a Bihar farmer’s son from Bakhorpur village has secured All India Rank (AIR) 383. He has scored 241 marks out of 360 in the IIT JEE Advanced exam in 2018. Interestingly, his elder brother Satyam, also cracked the JEE Advanced in 2012 when he was 13 years only.

Shivam told to HT that ‘The managing director of Resonance Coaching Institute guided me and my brother to success in JEE.’

While telling about his success secret, Shivam told that regular studies, notes and revision had helped him to qualify one of the toughest examinations for taking admission in IITs.
In Class 12th, Shivam scored 92% marks which were conducted by CBSE Education and has been a National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) scholar. However, NTSE is one of the well-known and prestigious national-level scholarship programme.

He also told that he came to Kota when he was five years old with Satyam because there was no school in their village. Because of good performance in their entrance test, he was directly got the admission in Class 3rd in a private school.
