A day after HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” announced the date of CBSE pending board examination, CBSE announced that paper evaluation work will be resumed from May 10. However, the evaluation process of board exam answer sheets will be done from respective homes.

Taking the information to Twitter on Saturday, HRD Minister said that around 1.5 crore CBSE board answer sheets will be delivered to the homes of the board examiners who will involve in the evaluation process. The answer sheets will be collected from the 3000 examination centres across the country.

Once the evaluation process is done, the board officials will collect the answer sheets and will send them back to the board exam centres.

The HRD minister also said that the work will be completed in just 50 days so that it may not impact the result announcement.

The HRD minister also thanked the home ministry for allowing the evaluation process from home in the wake of a nationwide lockdown.

Earlier on Friday, the HRD Minister announced that the pending board exams for class 10 and class 12 will be held from July 1 to July 15.

However, the official schedule for the remaining examination will be announced by the CBSE on its official website within 1-2 days.
