Expect RRB NTPC 2016 results by 14 October, not 20 September

RRB NTPC 2016 results are expected to be declared by 14 October, 2016. Contrary to popular perception, results for Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Courses (NTPC) - RRB NTPC 2016 - will not be declared on 19 or 20 September, 2016. The railways exam results will be announced on Regional RRB state websites or at rrbmumbai.gov.in.

Some of the popular RRB regions include Mumbai, Allahabad, Kolkata and Chandigarh zones. Region-wise RRB NTPC 2016 results will be announced together. "The result of 1st stage examination is under preparation," informed a notice on RRB Allahabad website.

Once the results are announced, RRB will conduct another computer-based test (CBT) for various NTPC (graduate) categories in the months of November and December, 2016. "It has been decided to hold 2 stage examination in this selection.... 2nd stage examination is expected to be held in November' 2016. Exact date of examination will be conveyed to all successful candidates in time," stated the notice on RRB Allahabad website.

Candidates who clear the first stage of RRB NTOC exam, will be called for the second stage of the exam. The second stage Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination includes 120 multiple choice objective questions containing questions on General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.
