Bihar Board 10th Result 2020: BSEB to announce matric result on this date; check latest update

On the other hand, the result for Bihar Board Class 12th had been declared soon after the lockdown started as the paper evaluation process was already done. However, the Bihar Board Matric result got delayed due to the imposition of lockdown due to the coronavirus.

Know when BSEB Bihar Board Class 10th Result will be announced?

According to the Bihar Board chairman Anand Kishor said on Monday that the BSEB had decided to further postpone the evaluation process for the Class 10th exam till May 17, when a lockdown is supposed to be lifted.

He told India Today that the directors of all the answer-sheet evaluation centres had been informed about the same via letter.

He had also mentioned that BSEB would also inform its new planning to evaluate the answer sheets within 2 days so that the Class 10th board exam result could be announced without further delay.

Now on Tuesday, Kishor informed that the board has decided to kick start the answer sheet evaluation process from the allotted exam centres from May 6 while maintaining the social distancing.

No evaluation process will be done from home, he added.

Hence, the result for class 10th is expected to be released within 20 days of the evaluation process' conclusion.

This year, around 20k board examiners were supposed to evaluate the BSEB 10th board exam answer sheets at over 100 centres in Bihar.

BSEB conducted the Bihar Board class 10th exam from February 17 to February 24, 2020. Around 15 lakh candidates have appeared for the examination out of which more than 7 lakh girls have appeared.

As of now, candidates who are waiting for their BSEB matric result should keep their eyes on the official website of the Bihar Board at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
