Amity student allegedly commits suicide inside hostel room

A first-year student of Amity University allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room on 5 November.

The body of P Sai Krishna, a first year student of business management at Amity University, was found hanging from the ceiling, India Today reported. A suicide note, written in Telugu, has been reportedly recovered from the room.

Krishna, who hailed from Telangana, joined the course 4 months ago.

In August this year, Sushant Rohilla, a fourth year student of BA-LLB course in Amity Law School, allegedly committed suicide at his residence in south Delhi's Sarojini Nagar area.

The University had been given a clean chit in the Rohilla suicide case.
