Delhi sessions court judge accused of molestation, attempts suicide

A judicial officer, who under a state of depression due to allegedly false allegations of molestation, tried to commit suicide on 22 July by overdosing on sleeping pills.

According to an ANI report, the judge, Pratap Singh Malik, is an additional district judge (ADJ) at the Dwarka court.

A woman posted at the Dwarka Court had made molestation allegations against Malik, who resides with his family in the residential area of Karkardooma Court.

Malik was earlier posted as the additional sessions judge at the Karkardooma Court.
