Twitter starts meme fest after India beat England in series-levelling win

Team India overpowered England by 317 runs on Day 4 of the second Test and inundated social media with cheery posts. As fans celebrated the series levelling victory, memes, jokes and genial taunts at the visitor lit up Twitter.

According to PTI, Indian spinner Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin completed the demolition of England batsmen, bringing India back in contention for the World Test Championship final with a 317-run victory in the second Test at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. The men in blue levelled the four-match series 1-1, after losing the first Test in the same venue.

India have now gone up to second spot in the World Test Championship table and need to at least win one and draw another in the four match series in order to make it to the final in June.
