Shoaib Malik slams media over wife Sania Mirza, says don't drag my family into this

Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik face a lot of flak after losing a crucial match against India in World Cup. Shoaib Malik was not spared by Pakistani media as well as fans over his poor performance in the match. Shoaib Malik’s Indian wife and ace Tennis player Sania Mirza also became an easy target for everyone after Pakistan’s loss against India.

A video surfaced online where Shoaib Malik can be seen partying with his wife and fans claimed that it was a night before India clash. Shoaib Malik took to his official Twitter handle to clear the doubt as he wrote, “When will Pak media be accountable for their credibility by our courts?! Having served my country for +20 years in Intl Cricket, it's sad that I have to clarify things related to my personal life. The videos are from 13th June and not 15th.”


 

Malik also urged fans and media took keep families of athletes away from petty discussions. Malik wrote, “On behalf of all athletes I would like to request media and people to maintain respect levels in regards to our families, who should not be dragged into petty discussions at will. It’s not a nice thing to do.”

 

Pakistan lost to India by 89 runs (DLS) method after men in blue posted a mammoth target of 336 runs on board. Shoaib Malik was dismissed for a golden duck for the second consecutive time in World Cup 2019. Indian opener Rohit Sharma scored 140 runs and won the man of the match award.
