Indian veteran cricketer Virender Sehwag, who is famous for his witty comments on micro blogging site Twitter, is now facing ire form the people due to his tweets over tragic incident that took place in Gorakhpur’s Baba Raghav Das Medical College.

In his Tweet, Sehwag had expressed his grief for the children died in horrific incident but his Tweet landed him in controversy.

Former explosive batsman Tweeted, “deeply pained by the loss of innocent lives in Gorakhpur. More than 50000 children have lost their lives here since encephalitis was first reported in 1978, the year I was born.

“We Still haven't figured a way to save innocent lives from a known disease. Heartbreaking !,” added Sehwag.
