Indian cricketer Sanju Samson gave a clue of possible return in India playing XI for their forth coming match against Bangladesh. After losing the first T20I in Delhi, India will face Bangladesh in the second match in Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium later in the day.

Rohit Sharma led team India will need a win to stay alive in the three match T20I series, while on the other hand the visitors are gunning for victory to become the first team to win a bilateral T20I series in India.

Following a dreadful display on field, the men in blue could make changes to their playing XI and could bring in Sanju Samson to give more depth to the top order. Sanju Samson could replace KL Rahul in the side, who scored 15 off 17 balls in the previous match.

The 24 year old made his T20I debut in 2015 against Zimbabwe and that remains his only game for the national side so far. But it looks like that’s going to change as Samson shared an enigmatic tweet on the day of match, hinting at his possible addition in the playing XI.

“Match day.... Let’s goooooo. #stronger&stronger #SAMSON,” Samson tweeted.

Sanju Samson was included in the 15 man squad for Bangladesh series because of his consistency in domestic cricket. With Rishabh Pant being the chosen wicket keeper batsman, Samson’s addition was being viewed as a back up, however, chief selector MSK Prasad elucidated that wasn’t the case.

“Sanju Samson has been included as a proper batsman, Pant will continue as wicket keeper. Sanju’s problem 3-4 years back was inconsistency. Now he has improved. He had a fantastic A series and wonderful Vijay Hazare. We consider him as a top-order batsman,” Prasad said after announcing squads for Bangladesh series.
