New Zealand police issue warning against the Indian team for assaulting the Kiwis

The Indian team is currently touring New Zealand for a five-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series and dominating the host in their own backyard. Leading the ODI series by 2-0 the Indian team is looking dangerous and might dominate the Kiwis in the third ODI.

Looking at this, the New Zealand police took to social media to take a jibe at the Indian team for they dominance they have been exhibiting. The Eastern District Police posted a warning for the White Ferns on their facebook account and told the public about a dangerous group was touring the country.


The Eastern District Police in their post wrote, “Police would like to issue a warning to members of the public about the exploits of a group touring the country at the moment. Witnesses report seeing this group badly assault an innocent looking bunch of New Zealanders in both Napier and Mt Maunganui in the last week. Extra care should be taken if you are carrying anything that looks like a cricket bat or ball.”

 

India won the first ODI by 8 wickets and went on to win the second match by 90 runs, with Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav all contributing with their bat. Kuldeep Yadav took his second consecutive four-wicket haul to register a bowling figure of 4/45.
