Mohammed Shami injured in a road accident while travelling to Delhi from Dehradun

The Indian pace bowler Mohammed Shami got injured in a road accident on Sunday. The cricketer was travelling to Delhi from Dehradun, according to ANI reports.

As per reports, Shami sustained minor head injuries and got stitches on his head. He is currently recuperating in Dehradun. Shami's car collided with a truck and he got several injuries.

Mohammed Shami was in the news after his wife Hasin Jahan leaked his extra-marital affairs with multiple women and accused him of domestic violence. Hasin Jahan has also lodged a complaint against the cricketer of extramarital affairs and his family members along with the cricketer of domestic violence.

Hasin has also hinted at him being involved in match-fixing. However, the BCCI has given him clean chit from the corruption charges and offered him his cricket contract.

Mohammed Shami is also to participate in IPL 2018 and will represent the Delhi Daredevils team. Shami is mentally disturbed from last 15 days and has turned to the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy (ACA), run by Bengal batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran's father, in Dehradun to rejuvenate himself mentally and physically.

Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan's allegations have left the country in shock. There are lots of twists and turns in the case that is coming in the front on a daily basis. However, Mohammed Shami had refused all the allegations made by his wife and said that Hasin has lost her mental stability. He also claimed that his wife is trying to spoil his career.

The complaint has been lodged under IPC sections, 307- attempt to murder, Section 323- punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376- rape, Section 506- criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34, including section 498A, which contains the cruelty against a woman by her husband or relatives.
