Jasprit Bumrah is no doubt one of the most lethal bowlers in the world right now. Bumrah’s death over bowling is every batsman’s nightmare and facing him is the last thing they want to do. Jasprit Bumrah is skipper Virat Kohli’s first choice of attack when the Indian team is under pressure. Bumrah proved to be a price possession once against for Kohli.
Jasprit Bumrah created a ‘wow’ moment for skipper Virat Kohli after he took two wickets from an over. Bumrah was bowling the 29th over and the very first ball of the over hit Rahmat Shah on pads but the umpire didn’t give that out despite a convincing appeal by the bowler and skipper. Then he bowled two dot balls and on the fourth ball, he dismissed Shah. The fifth ball was a dot again and on the last ball of the over he dismissed another set batsman Hazratullah Shahidi.
Bumrah’s bowling figure read, 0, 0, 0, W, 0, W. Bumrah’s spell created a wow moment for everyone including Indian skipper Virat Kohli. The official Twitter handle of Bumrah’s Indian Premier League side Mumbai Indians posted the same reading and captioned it, “Do you see what we see? 000W0W.”
