Delhi Daredevils have won the match after a tough fight with Mumbai Indians. Mumbai put a challenging score on the board after an explosive start. Captain Rohit Sharma could not do much with his bat but Openers Suryakumar and Lewis gave Mumbai's innings a firm base to build upon. There was a time when Mumbai's batsmen looked supreme and Delhi's bowler lost the control over the match completely.
However, in the later part, Trent Boult took two wickets in a series and controlled the Mumbaian wave. Mumbai put a challenging total of 194 runs before Delhi Daredevils.
Delhi starting its batting came up with an even powerful start than Mumbai. Powered by the batting skills of Roy and Gambhir, Delhi kept hitting runs. Joined with Pant, Roy hit many maximums. The match was a complete power pack performance for the audience.
Delhi has finally registered their first win against Mumbai Indians whereas Mumbai still struggle to taste their first win.
