Goosebumps! Debutant Mohammed Siraj left in tears due to this reason in 2nd T20I against New Zealand

In amid of India was playing its second match of three match series against New Zealand Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium at Rajkot, the Hyderabad lad pacer Mohammed Siraj has made his debut in international cricket.

But before starting the match, there was an incident that took place on the ground and later had won the hearts of Indian fans.


Siraj was handed over International cap by Indian head coach Ravi Shastri.

It all started when spectators stood up for the national anthem before the match and both teams were facing each other.

But just after the national anthem the pacer was seen left in tears.

Siraj, who hails from Hyderabad made his debut in replacement of Indian veteran pacer Ashish Nehra who took retirement from international cricket after playing first T20I of series against New Zealand.

People on ground were left amazed when they witnessed this heart warming incident.

Every cricketer dreams to represent its country and Siraj is one of them who have came across many difficulties in his life to become a cricketer.

The rookie pacer who has made his ways for international squad is son of an auto driver and has also played in Indian Premier League (IPL) from franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.

During the toss, India captain Virat Kohli lauded the rookie pacer and said: “Siraj makes his debut in place of Ashish Nehra. He is an upcoming talent in the IPL and is an exciting prospect”.

Though it was not a good day for Virat Kohli-led team India as they have lost the match against black caps by 40 runs.
