He is a music composer, singer, actor, producer and now Himesh Reshammiya is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming erotic thriller, Tera Surroor.
While the music composer's last release, Xpose, managed to do decent business at the Box-Office thus recovering the investment, the actor was a part of two films, which did not see the light of the day on big screens.
The first one out of his two unreleased movies is A New Love Ishtory. The film was directed by John Matthew Matthan, who directed the all-time classic, Sarfarosh with Aamir Khan.
The John Matthew directorial was initially slated to hit the big screen in 2013, but the film was never released for reasons best known to producer Bhushan Kumar. In the film, Himesh Reshammiya was seen essaying the character of a sperm donor.
A New Love Ishtory recently premiered on the Star Network.
His second unreleased film was Pooja Bhatt's Kajraare, starring Pakistani actress, Sara Loren, which was the first Bollywood film to be shot at Petra. Kajraare was initially slated to release on 6 August 2010, however, Bhatt had some differences with producer Bhushan Kumar and the same lead to a delay.
Due of the conflict, the release of the Himesh Reshammiya film was nearly stalled; however Bhushan Kumar had to release the film to get the amount due towards the satellite rights from Star Network. As a result, T-Series released the film in just two small single screens in Mumbai and as expected, the film sank without trace. Bhushan Kumar did manage to money through the satellite rights.
