Taanaji: Saif Ali Khan confirmed to play villain Udaybhan Singh Rathod in Ajay Devgn's film

It looks like that Saif Ali Khan's career has really come back on track after giving some back to back flops. Saif Ali Khan was having a bad time at the box office with his recent films but he actually surprised everyone with his performance in Netflix's Web-Series 'Sacred Games'. The success of Sacred Games actually helped Saif Ali Khan to bounce back.

Not only Sacred Games, but Saif Ali Khan also came with one of finest performance of his career with Bazaar that released in 2018. The film also did good at the box office and after some time finally, Saif gave a hit film. Now it looks like that Saif is ready to come with more challenges and films, soon he will be going to see playing the role of a villain.

 

Reports are that Saif Ali Khan is going to play leading villain in Ajay Devgn starrer Taanaji. Taanaji is a historical film narrating the story of the battle of Sinhagad. In this film, Ajay Devgn is playing the role of Maratha empire warrior Taanaji Malsure. While Saif will be seen playing the role of ruthless and crazy Udaibhan Singh Rathod.

Saif told about the role said 'Yes I am playing villain in this film. And the role is of crazy Udaibhan Singh Rathod who was a Mughal empire Aurangzeb's Rajput commander.
