Sultan: Will Salman Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan be able to recreate the magic of Dabangg?

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has sung some memorable songs for Salman Khan's films, including the Tere Mast Mast Do Nain from Dabangg, Teri Meri from Bodyguard and Dagabaaz Nain from Dabangg 2.

While political friction between India and Pakistan have kept the two from working together after Dabangg 2 in 2012, the Pakistani singer has now recorded a song for Salman Khan's upcoming film, Sultan.

The singer recently recorded a song titled Jag Ghomiya at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The romantic number was initially sung by Arijit Singh, but his version has been removed from the music album of the sport drama.

While Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's version will be used in the film, the same song sung by Salman Khan will be used for promotional purposes.

Composer duo Vishal-Shekhar have worked on the music for Sultan and the album is touted to have a folk music theme that is unlike any of the music from Salman Khan's previous films.

In the other news, the theatrical trailer of Sultan garnered over 10 million views within 72 hours of being released on YouTube/Facebook - the fastest trailer of a Bollywood film to do so.
