Star Screen Awards 2016 red carpet pics: Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, SRK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan win big

Jacqueline Fernandez wore a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree for the soiree, that had a lot of frills. Even though the Brothers star pulled off the entire look, she appeared to be having a little trouble with saree in a few places.

Sporting quite a strict look at the red carpet was Bollywood fashionista, Sonam Kapoor. She wore an Elie Saab Fall 2015 jumpsuit that had a plunging neckline and golden belt. Middle parted hair, suede boots and a box clutch further completed her look.

The veterans of the film industry also graced the award's night. While Rekha appeared in her usual gold charm, Big B and wife Jaya Bachchan contrasted their attires with black and pink. Also seen were filmmaker Ramesh Sippy and wife Kiran Sippy Juneja.

The award shows also make for a get together for the industry people, who are otherwise quite busy with their work. Seen chatting up at the red carpet were Shilpa Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi.

Shilpa wore a sparkly Monisha Jaising gown and her middle parted burgundy highlighted hair complemented the entire look.

While Radhika Apte was seen wearing a black Tanieya Khanuja gown with berry lips, Raveena Tandon opted for a blue gown with middle parted sleek hair.

Varun Dhawan and Jackie Shroff too posed for the shutterbugs at the red carpet.

It was an overtly ruffled Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla dress for Deepika Padukone for the event. That sun-kissed tan gelled well with the updo and Deepika left no loop hole to flaunt it.

Actor Sana Khan arrived wearing a sheer white gown that was covered with golden sequins. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who was honoured with the Life Time Achievement Award, accompanied his wife and actor Neetu Singh at the red carpet.

The Lootera jodi, Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha showed some moves on the red carpet and even posed together for the shutterbugs. While Ranveer flaunted his quirky fashion sense by sporting a grey suit with numerous zips, Sonakshi wore a burgundy Gauri Nainika gown with side-swept hair and diamond drop earrings.
