Sona Mohapatra: Sonu Nigam asked my husband to ‘keep me in check’ during #MeToo

Last year at this time itself MeToo took the world by storm which also took India into its clutches. Women's step down on street or on camera to talk about the black incident of their lives, also they revealed the name of them so that in future they are not able to destroy other peoples life. Many famous male celebrities were accused of Metoo and dragged them to court to get justice.

In all of them one of the fabulous singer Sona Mohapatra who rose to the fame from Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayatey. Opened her mouth during the Metoo wave and accused Kailash Kher of his repeated comments and advances. Once again the Ambarsariya singer is hitting the headlines for revealing what Sonu Nigam told his husband Ram Sampath when Anu Malik was accused of the same.


Anu Malik who had to step down from the judge seat on Sony TV’s Indian Idol 10 last year during the MeToo movement. However, the ace director is back on the judge seat dor the new season i.e Indian Idol 11 with Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani. As soon as his come back news hit the headlines Sona took to his twitter handle and questioned the decision of makers to rehire him.

Several netizens are also questioning the makers over their decision to bring him back one such user wrote on Twitter, “I saw #AnuMalik back on #IndianIdolSeems like all the men who were outed during #MeToo last year are back in business. Of course, they have been acquitted of their charges by committees led by their well-wishers. All the courage mustered by women going down the drain.”

 

To this Sona replied that Sonu Nigam is supporting Anu Malik as for him Anu is his mother’s son. She further added that Sonu called his husband to keep a check on her and termed her ‘terrorist’.

Well, many celebs were brought down during #MeToo even Alok Nath known as Sanskari Babu could not spare from its clutches as even he was accused of MeToo from his co-star from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The actor was recently seen in Ajay Devgan’s film De De Pyaar De after MeToo accusation and even then netizens started leaving their hate comments for the actor and demanded to throw the actor out of the film.
