Shah Rukh Khan's commercial entertainer Dilwale failed to impress the audiences at the ticket window. The film raked in Rs 140 crore at the Box Office. The film was sold to the distributors at sky high prices and producer, Shah Rukh Khan, decided to make good 50 per cent of losses suffered by the individual distributors.

A section of audiences boycotted the film at theatres due to Shah Rukh's remarks on intolerance. The Rohit Shetty directorial, also starring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon is set to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television on Sunday, 20 March at 8 PM.
