Sarkar 3 vs Jagga Jasoos: Amitabh Bachchan to fight it out with Ranbir Kapoor at the box office

Eros International has postponed the release date of Sarkar 3 by three weeks as the film will now release on April 7.

This has resulted in a box office clash of the film with Jagga Jasoos, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead. The Ram Gopal Varma directorial starring Amitabh Bachchan, Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy, Jackie Shroff amongst others is the third instalment of the Sarkar franchise.

The theatrical trailer of the film is expected to be out soon following which the makers have planned a huge promotional campaign. The industry insiders who have watched glimpses from the film are confident about the return of Ram Gopal Varma in the game after a series of flops.

Jagga Jasoos on the other hand is in the news post the teaser trailer launch in December. The film seems to be a fun ride featuring ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The movie marks the collaboration of Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu after Barfi.
