Sanjay Leela Bhansali announces his most ambitious project 'Baiju Bawra' after 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'

A few months ago, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's team announced that his film with Salman Khan, Inshallah is not happening now. This all happened after some differences between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, this all affected actress Alia Bhatt who was decided to play a leading role in the film opposite Salman Khan.

Interestingly, making his promise to Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next directorial for Alia, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. Today, on the auspicious day of Diwali, the filmmaker announced the release date of Gangubai Kathiawadi and also announced his next directorial after Alia Bhatt starrer.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared a picture in the formal announcement of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next films. The announcement reads, "After the release of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' on 11th September 2020, Sanjay Leela Bhansali to make his most ambitious magnum opus, 'Baiju Bawra - Revenge Story of Maverick Maestro.' The Musical saga will light up the screens on Diwali 2021".
