Sooraj Barjatya pays tribute to Lata Mangeshkar in Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

Director Sooraj Barjatya has always been vocal about how Lata Mangeshkar's devotional track 'Ram Ratan Dhan Payo' inspired him to come up with the title Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

As the title song from the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was launched recently, the director of the film confessed that the melodious song from the film is a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar. Picturised on Sonam Kapoor, the song is sung by Palak Munchhal and also features Salman Khan.

Lata Mangeshkar and Sooraj Barjatya's connection goes back years; the veteran singer sung the title song in Sooraj Barjatya's debut film Maine Pyaar Kiya and continued to lend her support to the director in his second film Hum Aapke Hai Koun.
