Currently busy shooting for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ranbir Kapoor is one of the busiest actors in B-Town. In the next two years, he will be a part of films directed by Anurag Basu, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Rajkumar Hirani.

From all his future ventures, the most anticipated one is with Rajkumar Hirani, which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt tentatively titled Dutt. Ranbir, of course, plays the titular role in the movie. Hirani's reason to make a biopic on Sanjay Dutt is quite emotional. Earlier on he had said,

"I met Sanju when he was back from jail on a three month parole and ended up talking for eight hours. He told me a lot about his life and I called him again the next day as I was very moved with whatever he told me. Abhijat (writer) and I sat with him for 25 days to know his full story. I used to edit PK, then reach his house at 5 or 6 pm and be there till 3 am! I discovered that although I did three films with him, I only knew one per cent of the man. There's so much about him which he has never shared with anyone. I saw a film there."

Of course, Ranbir will have to bulk up to portray Sanjay Dutt's real life look. At a press conference recently, Hirani confirmed that he will start shooting for the film very soon.

He said, "The script is almost complete and we will start shooting with Ranbir in 2016."
