Is Ranbir - Katrina's Jagga Jasoos inspired by The Singing Detective?
The Ranbir Kapoor - Katrina Kaif starrer, Jagga Jasoos, has been in the making since a while now. While the cast and crew has been rather tight-lipped about the detective film's plot, it seems Ranbir's character will interact with others in the film via songs, as he is shown to be suffering from a speech impediment.
The idea of a character communicating through songs is inspired by the international TV series, The Singing Detective, reports DNA.
The final shooting schedule of the Anurag Basu directorial is expected to take place in Morocco, soon. Earlier this year, Sidharth Roy Kapoor from Disney UTV revealed that the film has shaped up really well and he was blown away by the visuals.
Produced by Disney UTV, the film is expected to hit the big screen in August 2016.
