My role is just the opposite of who I am

Kriti Sanon's Barielly Ki Barfi, featuring her along with other two co-actors Rajkummar Rao and Ayushman Khuurrana is said to be a romantic comedy set in Bareilly.

The actress feels that her role is different and challenging as this is the first time she has played a tomboyish character that had to talk in UP lingo for which the she had to prep hard.

Kriti says, "Rohit Choudhury, who is also in the film and from Lucknow taught us all the intonations, pauses and how to pitch the dialogues".

The actress will be seen in a no glamour avatar.

Kriti says, "It's something I have never done before and I get attracted to quirky characters. My role is completely opposite to who I am in real life.'

The film is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari will feature Ayushman as the owner of a printing press and Rajkummar as an author. The trio will be seen together for the first time.
