Only because of this reason Sanju actor Paresh Rawal agreed to play Sunil Dutt's role
Bollywood veteran actor Paresh Rawal played the role of Sanjay Dutt's father Sunil Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani directorial biopic Sanju. When the Bollywood is appreciated Ranbir Kapoor to went under the skin of Sanjay Dutt to his role on screen the person who is getting appreciation is Paresh Rawal for his role of Sunil Dutt.
Paresh Rawal has proved several times that he is one of the classic actors of the film industry and not just now he always has been praised for his unbeatable performances. There was a time in 2005 when Sunil Dutt himself wrote an appreciation letter to Paresh Rawal for his acting.
One letter was sent to Paresh Rawal on 25th May 2005 for his birthday that was held on 30th May. The letter was on Sunil Dutt's letterhead with the signature of Sunil Dutt. Paresh Rawal was so much excited to see the letter and also shocked that Sunil Dutt sent him a letter.
During those years Paresh Rawal saved that letter but forget about that incident and when on 3rd January 2017, Paresh Rawal was going to meet Rajkumar Hirani then Paresh Rawal's wife Swaroop Sampat asked Paresh to give some documents to him from the draw.

Paresh Rawal told that he got that letter from the draw and maybe it was the destiny that made him meet that old letter on the same day when he was supposed to hear the narration of Sunil Dutt's role from Rajkumar Hirani.
