Not Gold, but Naagin fame Mouni Roy made her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Bachchan in this film
Naagin fame actress Mouni Roy has made her name on silver screen with her acting debut in films with Gold starring opposite Akshay Kumar. Even after Gold, Mouni Roy is going to be seen in many good movies that also includes Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra, a supernatural fantasy film. But only a few people know that not Gold but actually Mouni Roy made her Bollywood debut quite earlier.
Mouni Roy got her first breakthrough film in 2018 starring alongside Akshay Kumar, but in 2004 she already was seen on the silver screen and that too with Abhishek Bachchan. Mouni Roy did a short role in Abhishek Bachchan starrer Run and the film was released in 2004.
When Mouni Roy first came to Mumbai, she gave an audition and after that, she got a role in Abhishek Bachchan starrer film Run. The film had Abhishek Bachchan and Bhumika Chawla in the leading roles. Mouni Roy did a short appearance in the opening song of the film.
Mouni Roy did her first show on television of Ekta Kapoor's Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and replaced Smriti Irani. But Mouni Roy got fame and name with supernatural show Naagin.
