Freaky Ali Box Office: Nawazuddin Siddiqui film fails to show growth over the weekend

Freaky Ali had a below average opening weekend as the film raked in around Rs 8.50 crore from its three-day run at the Box Office.

The film, which got a limited release on around 800 screens, after an average start, failed to show substantial growth over the weekend. Despite being the highest ever opening weekend for a Nawazuddin Siddiqui film surpassing Manjhi: The Mountain Man and Raman Raghav, the collections could have easily hit the double digit mark. Freaky Ali fared the best at Mumbai and Gujarat.

Day Wise Box Office Collection:

Friday: Rs 2.55 crore

Saturday: Rs 2.85 crore

Sunday: Rs 3.20 crore (Early Estimate)

Total: Rs 8.60 crore (Early Estimate)

The all India distribution rights have been sold to Vashu Bhagnani for around Rs 10 to Rs 11 crore and a steady trend on the weekdays is essential for the film to break even and thus emerge as a safe bet.
