Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who is famous for her bold statements and her brilliant performances in the films is celebrating her birthday 31st birthday today. The actress shares her birthday with legendary Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Kangana made her debut in films at the very young age of 17 years and her journey started through a struggling phase.

In an interview, once Kangana told that she got failed in 12th standard exams and that's why she ran away from her home in Manali by leaving her parents. She came to Chandigarh and started doing modelling and acting course. She then came to Mumbai and got a chance to work in Anurag Basu's film Gangster under Mahesh Bhatt's production.

Well, she got the platform in films through Mahesh Bhatt's production house but she made her own identity in films by clearing her own struggling phase. She got her first recognization through Madhur Bhandarkar's film Fashion (2009) she won National Award for Best Performance in Supporting.

However, still, the actress had to face lots of struggle for her proper identity in the filmdom. Then the year came when she got her due, In 2014, she came up with the film Queen directed by Vikas Bahl. The film did a great business at the box office and Kangana surprised everyone with her one of the best performance. She got National Award again but this time for leading actress.

Well, we say that when success comes when it comes from all the ways the same happened with Kangana also. After winning a national award in 2015, the actress again took the same recognization for her next film Aanand L Rai's Tanu Weds Manu Returns. These days she is busy in the shooting of her next film Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi and then she will start the shooting of Mental Hai Kya.
